It seems like getting tips/evaluation early on might be helpful to make your art βgoodβ by normal standards. But then at some point youβd have to find your own voice to really excel. At least thatβs my initial thought as someone who is not well versed in that world.
It's been hard to make a living from one's artistic pursuits for most of human existence. With AI, the nature of creativity and artistic expression will change, but none of us are sure how that will all play out in the culture yet.
One things's for sure: a large passionate group of AI-hating folks exist that will only support human-created work.
Interesting discussion but now my head hurts! I have artist friends who ask AI to evaluate their paintings. It feels really uncomfortable to meβ¦.

Youβre right, but how do we know what is and isnβt AI created?
At some point I suppose we won't. We'll have to take people at their word that no AI is used in the making of their art. Scary!
